If you have not seen "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", I will recommend that. And not just because it has an awesome soundtrack.

ReplyDeleteFor movie recommendations I read Twitch.com and DreadCentral.com. I'm betting you've seen "Brothers Bloom" and "Moon". Have you seen "Special" (2006) or "Defendor" (2009)? "Ong Bak 2" and "Chocolate" (2008) and the last two Zatoichi films if you want some nice foreign martial arts. "Funky Forest" and "Survive Style 5+" for Japanese weirdness. "Antichrist" if you want to feel generally ill. For upcoming movies, which I actually haven't seen so I don't know if they're any good: "Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil", "Heartless" (British), "Zonad" (British), "Viy" (Russian), "Adele Blanc-Sec" (French), "Les Dents de la Nuit" (French, but the english title is "Vampire Party").
I have procured "Moon" and will watch it. Actually it was slipped into my pocket on a CDR by a homeless man after we had ramen. But I have it and will watch it.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Brothers Bloom. I have seen some Funky Forest, but none of the others, and they're all on my list now. Ho ho ho!
